Sarah Pollock is a scientist specializing in earth and atmospheric science. With her MSc. in Environmental Science and Graduate Certificate in International Development / Non-profit Management, she brings a unique perspective to examining global environmental problems and solutions.
Sarah always had a passion for understanding meteorology and climatology, ever since witnessing her first tornado in Michigan. Through her educational and professional experiences this has broadened to include desertification, biodiversity, and sustainable development.
Frequently moving between Canada and The United States as a child, she quickly learned to adapt to new, unfamiliar situations – which ultimately fuelled her passion for travel. Since then she has traveled to 23 countries on four continents. With a camera in hand, she aims to capture the natural beauty that can be found around the world. Currently based in the Greater Toronto Area, Sarah is looking to combine environmental research and development work with photography, with the goal to enlighten and inspire environmental and social awareness through her work.
